Italy 2000 (35mm, 29' 15', )
Everybodyshut-up, born deaf, suddenly acquires his sense of hearing and becomes hypersensitive to sounds to such a degree that he makes a profession out of his curse: he becomes a sound effects person for films. At home he is assaulted by the din coming from his noisy neighbors. In particular, there is Giovanna, a temperamental singer whose desperate crying is to become the cause of Everybodyshutup's new deafness. History seems to be repeating itself.
