Unifrance Short Cuts 4

For the past ten years, the short film department of Unifrance Film International has been committed to encouraging the distribution of French short films in foreign territories.
400 short films are made in France each year and over a third are screened at international festivals.
The sixty or so foreign festivals which select French shorts can rely on our support. Over the years, our organization has become the vital link between selection committees, journalists, foreign buyers and French directors and producers.
In order to increase the chances of foreign distribution, the Commission of Short Film Producers at Unifrance Film International allocates grants for the sub-titling of approximately 70 films a year. The best of these films are featured on the SHORT CUTS (*) cassettes which are aimed at foreign professionals interested in short films.
We are particularly delighted that the Turin Festival has accepted to promote SHORT CUTS 4 among the Italian public and professionals and we sincerely hope that the films will appeal to them.
