Federica di Giacomo
(La Spezia) graduates in Anthropology and works for some years with the Russian Derevo theater-dance group. She attended the Master of documentary in Barcelona with Joaquim Jordá and Louis José Guerin. She is producer, author and director of The Grotesque Side of Life (2006), awarded at the 2006 Turin Film Festival, is author and director of Housing (2009) and Liberami, which wins, among others, the Solinas Prize, the Horizons Award for Best film at the Venice Film Festival. Liberami has been distributed in various countries.
(Italy, 1982) is a filmmaker experimenting with the documentary form. She studied filmmaking at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and Political Sciences. Her films are screened internationally (Toronto International Film Festival, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, MediaCity Film Festival Detroit, FRAC Dunkerque, National Gallery of Art Washington DC, Wexner Center for the Arts). As invited artist, she run courses at Srishti School of Art Bangalore and Univeristy of Goettingen. Since 2012, she is based in Berlin.
(Rome) lives in Paris. She studied Politics, Literature and Cinema and began her career as a script reader for Canal Plus and as a consultant for RAI. She joined ARTE France in 1994 working on ARTE’s relations with public broadcasters from Eastern and Central Europe. In her current position as Head of International Relations for ARTE France, she works on ARTE’s European projects and partnerships, and on ARTE Kino Festival. She awards the ARTE Kino International Prize, a development grant for feature length projects.
