The tenants of an inner-city apartment building are supposed to be evicted and the house re-sold with a huge profit. However, one remaining tenant refuses to leave his home. Director statement

With Atlas I wanted to make a movie that doesn't emotionally lash out at you. Instead it's supposed to slowly pull you in as a viewer, increasing its grip on you as you go along. Stylistically I wanted it to be straightforward, no gimmicks or horseplay, but with an unpredictable plot. Just like its main character Walter, who's the center of our story: a very low key, quiet person, who on the inside experiences this profound drama.
