MR. DEATH: THE RISE AND FALL OF FRED A. LEUCHTER, JR.
Fred A. Leuchter, Jr. is a Massachusetts engineer who has dedicated his life to projecting ad repairing gas chambers, electric chairs, and systems for lethal injections. Although he is self-taught, he soon became a consultant for many American states that have the death penalty. In 1998 Ernst Zündel, a neo-Nazi, commissioned him to do research on the gas chambers in Auschwitz. Leuchter came to the conclusion that the "holocaust never existed." The controversy that his declarations stirred up ruined him.
