SCUSI, DOV'È IL NORD EST?

EXCUSE ME, WHERE IS THE NORTHEAST?

Country: Italy
Year: 2000
Duration: 47'

Italian self-made men and women that have made their fortunes in the food industry exploiting their mixture of imagination, family ties, and their ability to improvise and made do with what they have. These are the typical qualities of the national identity. These people may be producers of quality wines, prosciutti and tortellini or even owners of frozen food companies. This is the story of the hard-working provinces of northeastern Italy.

"These are typically Italian goings-on, characterized by strong family ties, by the will to risk and win, and by the ability to learn from the world while staying tenaciously tied to one's own home town" (Stefano Missio).
