Enrico Vecchi

Enrico Vecchi (Bologna, 1969) has his film debut at 10. He graduates in Social Anthropology in Brighton, he starts studying theatre at the Philippe Gaulier School in London. Here, together with Pepa Diaz-Meco, he founds the theatre Canapia Teatro and the Big Nose Production, writing, directing and producing short films. He moves to Seville and meets Santi Amodeo and Alberto Rodriguez, with whom he makes the no budget film Factor Pilgrim, distributed in Spain and become a national happening. He has been acting in Spanish, Italian, English and American productions, while working as scriptwriter and director. He is currently living in Rome where he has just published the children book Corri François!, about Truffaut's youth.
