A director who made the Cinema's history - Luciano Emmer - and a writer who, since thirty years, symbolize the conscience, critic and ironic, of women - Erica Jong. Italy and its Cinema on one side, America and its fight for emancipation on the other. Both share the will to do some projects, the need to give shape to life though Art, the curiosity for the feminine point of view. And then the family, the grandchildren, the same love for Venice... The confrontation of Emmer with feminine writing and mentality continues. Here he approaches Erica Jong, seats beside her, tells her about his films, in an amusing and intimate conversation.

Elisabetta Sgarbi
(Ferrara, Italy) is the creator and director of the publishing house La nave di Teseo. She created and for nineteen years has been the artistic director of the festival La Milanesiana, dedicated to literature, music, cinema, science, art, philosophy, and theatre. Since 1999 she has been the director and producer of her films, which were often presented at the Torino Film Festival.
