Angelo Caligaris
Angelo Caligaris (Pisa, 1943) is a painter and photographer. He graduated from the Rome Fine Arts Academy in 1966, specializing in painting. His works have been put on exhibition widely. He is the personal photographer for many famous artists. He has worked for the most important Italian publishers, for the theater, for cinema, and for advertising. He worked as assistant director for various directors, including Mario Monicelli and Gianni Amelio from 1966 to 1973. For her role in Trucco & Stucco Nadia Bastianelli won the ex aequo prize as the best leading actress at the third Sacher Festival.
