Now Is Everything is the story of an esteemed fashion photographer, Nicolas Yarna, who struggles with his creative sentience, while questioning everything he thinks he knows in the midst of detaching himself from reality and from his muse and lover, Matilda. Now adrift and isolated, a mysterious phone call from a stranger lures Nicolas into a fever dream-like journey in search of his missing girlfriend Matilda – a quest that blurs the lines between passion, love and imagination.

Riccardo Spinotti
Riccardo Spinotti (1986) was raised in both Italy and in Santa Monica, CA, USA. He attended NYU for Art and Sciences before joining the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he graduated as a director in 2012. He has directed several short films including his thesis that was selected and screened at the Directors Guild of America in 2012.

Valentina De Amicis
Valentina De Amicis (1979) graduated in 2004 from University of Rome La Sapienza in film studies. Since 2006 she has worked as assistant director between Los Angeles, New York, and Rome on numerous films, commercials, and television including Woody Allen’s film To Rome with Love.

“The idea of Now Is Everything came to mind because we wanted to explore male intimacy, intrigued by the discovery of its fascinating complexities regarding the dynamics of a relationship with a woman. Our film is the story of a man, Nicolas, a fashion photographer who suffers the mysterious disappearance of Matilda, the woman he loves. It is a psychological dream about the love that comes from within us in relation to the unknown mysteries of space.”
