Declaration
film director
“At the beginning of this project, the script of the film looked a lot more different, but as it grew, I realised what I really wanted to say and I had to learn how to put it in film. This project is about finding a calling deep within us and having the courage to respond to it. The way the character of the story finds this out is through a supernatural experience. The idea of the red string was inspired to an Asian myth that I was fascinated by a long time, but at the base its a concept of us, coming in contact with our destiny. I hope whoever sees this film feels inspired to look within and find something they are excited about, and maybe they forgot it’s there.”
