In 1971 Ricky, a 19-year-old youth, is sitting in his living room at home. A collection of records, a saxophone, and the background music testify to his father's passion for jazz. However, Ricky is looking for a new kind of music that is nearer to his times. He sees a Jimi Hendrix concert on television and falls in love with this kind of rock so much that he decides to imitate him, and even achieves a certain success. Twenty years later in 1993, his son Massimo, a 19-year-old youth, is sitting in the same living room as in the opening scene. There is the same passion for music, but the tastes are very different.

Alessandra Diomede
Alessandra Diomede (Milan, 1974) attended the 5th CVA class in Visual Communication at the State Technical Institute (Milan, 1992-93). She produced her first work, The Ricky Experience, in collaboration with several of her classmates. It was presented at her graduation examination for the current academic year.
