A family made up of a father, a mother, their children fiveyearold Brooke, seven-yearold Fonzie, and elevenyearold Lucy and a grandfather is at dinner. Observing them, we learn some of the characteristics of life in the posttelevision era. Then, there will be no need to cook. It is enough that you desire your favorite food to see it materialized on your plate. Only the youngest child, Brooke, has not yet learned how to desire. Instead of a baked fish, a live fish floats in front of her in the air. Brooke and her older sister prod the grandfather with questions that make him yearn for the good old days of television. This is a less tiring world and Brooke seems lo be attracted to it, a world where even desires can be suggested. However, she and her brother and sister do not know television and their mother does not want the grandfather to confuse them. They will have a wonderful life if they only learn to desire. The meal ends when the deserts are eaten vigorously in virtual reality... because you know desserts are bad for your teeth. The screenplay has been realized with the aid of "The Giovani Ciak Award for the best original screenplay" organized by Mediateca del Cinema Indipendente Italiano.
