.Giuseppe Federico Baudo the screen and stage's Pippo Baudo is dissected according to the methods of criminal anthropology. But, there is always a but. Since the "middle occipital cavity" could not be located in the head of Giuseppe Federico Baudo, a decision was made to analyse the abovementioned G.F. Baudo according to the rigorously Lombrosian criteria of the genius factor.
Television Geniuses is the pilot film of a TV series that aims to study the videocrats according to the criteria of Lombrosian theory. It will draw on books such as the anonymous Latin Phisiognomica, Giovan Battista Della Porta's De humana physiognomonia, Johann G. Lavater's Von der Phiysiognomik, and so forth and so on until Cesare Lombroso's The Man of Genius, and farther forth and farther on until the subconscious Lobrosianism of the television camera consubstantiated in the domestic television set.

Pietro Balla
Pietro Balla (Poirino, Turin, Italy, 1956-2021) earned his degree in political science; in 1985 he started making shows and documentaries for Italian television. His works include Illibatezza, 1949 - Nelle terre di Dio, Dérive Gallizio, Ballando nel fumo and I campioni di Olimpia. He created and produced the series Scatti di nera, with Michele Placido, for Fox International Channels Italia, and, between 2007 and 2008, he co-directed and produced with Monica Repetto the documentary Operai for Raitre. In 2008 the Venice Film Festival presented his documentary feature ThyssenKrupp Blues, directed and produced with Monica Repetto, his companion and main collaborator.
