There is an old retired man on a beach. His legs have been deformed from a life spent at the foundry furnaces, He stops to explain to two children how to build sand castles and, meanwhile, he reminds them of the worth of work. A brief video poem grows out of this situation.

Pietro Zanelli
Pietro Zanelli (Bologna, 1953) teaches Institutions of Private Law at the Economics School of the University of Bologna. L'uomo dalle gambe larghe marks his debut as video director.
