MICROCOSMOS
by Claude Nuridsany, Marie Pérennou
Mocrocosmos is a voyage of discovery to a sublime, unknown planet: Earth. This is an exploration into a new land - in fact, a simple meadow - during a summer's day: a day, a night and the dawn of a second day. But one day, in this microcosmos, is the equivalent of a season, and a whole chapter of life when, in the case of insects, existence spans only weeks. Any event thus takes on a new dimension: for the microcosmos, a simple storm can have cataclysmic consequences.
