Odeh is a Palestinian boy who lives in the occupied territories and is permanently marked by the brutal deaths of almost all his close family members. When he is fifteen, he is sent to Rome alone in order to commit a terrorist act. Right after the bomb goes off, he is arrested. For the next ten years he finds out how merciless prison life is. He listens to other people's tragic stories, but for the first time he meets other people ready to listen to him. Today Odeh is twenty five and has earned a state of semirelease from prison. He has rented a house on the outskirts of the city and bought a dog.

Roberto Giannarelli
Roberto Giannarelli (Rome, 1957) began working in the cinema field as film critic. After that, he became a scriptwriter and director, working mostly for RAI. In 1992 his first feature film, Centro storico, was shown at the Venice Film Festival.
