ME GH'ÉRA

Cavriago, April 1419, 1997. These are images of a trip through the magic of film and the magic of life, where the lights and fogs of a film wrap in fiction the passionate words and looks of the protagonists unusual actors who find themselves putting on a scene of what they had really experienced. While Daniele Segre's film crew is busy on the main set inside the Novecento movie theater, the students o the Video School for Social Documentation alternate their activity between working on the set and shooting outside the theater in the various locations in Cavriago, accompanying the characters along their voyage into memory. The intensity of the encounter between the young people and the old people from the village, the availability of the old people to talk about themselves, and the young people's desire to listen transform this moment in the shooting of a film into a rich and involving human experience. This takes place through the streets of Cavriago, in people's houses, and ultimately inside the hearts of their stories in a time that is floating in the presenttime of memory.
