This film tells of war without showing images of war. It investigates deep, dark states of the soul. It points out the failure of people to be able to live with each other. The films is played out in light and darkness - metaphors for time and space and for fear and horror. A hope is contained in the sunny yellow color of a tuber. That's it.

"This little work of mine represents my contribution as man and artist in the face of war. My originality is as strong as it is desperate. Over the ruins of a demolished dam, I listen to and condemn the anguishing silence of people's consciences" (Renato Pengo).
