UMA RAPARIGA NO VERÃO

The summer is ending. Isabel returns home from the beach, alone, feeling threatened. Her younger sister and their father, who writes for Diogo's radio programs, are waiting for her. Isabel loves Diogo. She waits for him in the forest after having flunked her final high school exams. She wants to quit school, find a job, leave home. Diogo understands nothing about her and her desires. Life seems to be passing quietly, but Isabel feels she is on the razor's edge. One day she leaves for Lisbon with Quim and finds a job. But she soon realizes she made the wrong decision and returns to her father, who is dying. She sees Diogo again and together they leave for the capital. Her sister goes on vacation with her fiancé. Life goes on and its passage is what life is all about.
