Leyton and Modesto are two fishermen who have been friends for many years. Leyton is a quiet type, he takes life as it comes, he has a way with women, especially those who feel neglected by their husbands. This is why he could be defined as the most loved and hated man of the coast. Modesto, on the other hand, is a taciturn man, who works a lot and doesn't have any love stories. But Modesto unexpectedly marries Marta, a young, beautiful and naÔve girl. Leyton and Marta are almost immediately attracted to each other. The young woman starts to secretly meet her husband's friend, but the two will soon find themselves in a blind alley and the quiet village will be turned upside down.
