Matsubara Yoshimi is trying to win legal guardianship of her five-year-old daughter. The woman and the girl live in a small, sad apartment inside a large building. Besides her anguish at the thought of losing her daughter, Yoshimi has to deal with strange infiltrations of dark water that are coming in through the ceiling and the walls. Also she often sees, like in a dream, a mysterious red purse which belonged to a girl who disappeared without a trace two years before. The woman tries to discover the connection between all these strange events but she isn't prepared at all to confront the truth…
