The first and the only authorized biography of the great Chinese director, John Woo, an authentic myth for the latest generation of film lovers. The publicity-shy director agreed to tell the story of his childhood as a poor boy in Hong Kong, his vocation to become a priest, and his re-conversion to the cinema of violence, which is always represented in the form of expiation. The director talks about his whole career and about those whom he considers his masters ó Jean-Pierre Melville, Sergio Leone and Bernardo Bertolucci.
