Ouranos

In a faraway village the love story of four young people gets upset by World War Two. A remarkable film in the history of Greek cinema, it tells a story during the war between Greece and Italy on the borders of Albania. Tornes has a medium role, but he is also the assistant. Directors of photography are Varriano and Ghrighòris Dhan`lis, and the latter will become one of Tornes worst "leftist" enemies, until the last years, when, with Nikos Koundouros and M`nos Zacharìas, he will refuse him financial support in the state commissions.
