Renata is busy with her first day at work. Like many other young
women, she doesn't really know what she wants to become, but she feels
the risk of standardization and loss of identity that the world she is
entering offers. During the day, the food/relationship/hierarchy net and
the first responsibilities she gets, force her to integrate. It is an
integration which is not a choice, but the feeling of being part of
something. Like the smells of a fast food place stay, routine and the
need to belong, represent the only hopes for our smooth and fast food
lives, of our inconsistent fast lives.

Stefano Russo
Stefano Russo (Naples, 1970), in 1990 follows a course of scriptwriting given by Maurizio Fiume. In 1994 his short film Un paradiso, directed with Paolo Sorrentino, is screened at the Turin Film Festival, at Anteprima Bellaria and at Arcipelago 4 in Rome. Since 1998 he has been writing screenplays for TV. In 2003 he wins the 5th edition of PescaraCortoScript with You Are What You Eat. At the moment he is busy with his first long feature film, Piante dal fiore reciso.
