A mother and her son follow a path through the woods, leaving behind his schoolmates. They walk and stop, trapped inside a motionless day, faraway from the rest of the group, but above all from themselves.

"001.0 is a short film that doesn't tell a thing. There have been endless aspects, frozen in the role of a mother e in the silence of a son, which forced me to describe such a story, in a mute, aseptic way. There is no magic, no passion, it is an unfriendly role to be the author of these images: I won't do it again. The forest is where my father used to go swimming during the summer, not far from rice fields full of mosquitoes and nuclear power plants. It is disseminated of abandoned objects, a washing machine swollen with humidity. Empty cans, two brown shoes and a typewriter are covered with leaves and the two who get lost in the forest, are abandoned." (M. Peretti)
