Nobody had never come back for twenty years

"24 years have gone by after the Irpinia earthquake in 1980. The reconstruction has deeply modified its topographic structure, leaving behind the ruins as witnesses of the tragedy, like in an open air museum. Old Apice is one of the many abandoned villages, but there is an exception: incredibly, its house are still intact. Sunk into a dull silence, if one tries to walk among these stones, he gets the clear feeling of being observed. Apice seems to want its soul back, and now, oblivious of the human presence, seems terrified of this unexpected visit. The man brings with him a suitcase and an idea." (A. Matarazzo)
