This film is composed of three short films, linked by
savage chases. In the first episode, Last Song, a man runs down an
alley, chased by a female robot who loves Broadway musicals. In the
second episode, Shadows, the chase involves a person who is taken into
the alley by a killer, who leaves him no hope for survival. In the
third, Fly, a man, who is running from the police, ends up on a rooftop,
where he kidnaps a girl who wants to commit suicide.
"In the beginning I wanted to make three short films to experiment the
technical capabilities of a new digital camera. I had a very low budget,
but I managed to stretch it. In fact, thanks to my bad habits, I begged
everybody to work on Dead End Run as though it were a full-length film,
to make it a true film. Shooting lasted ten days and we followed the
conditions we had been set: make three interactive films with two
characters at the most and limit the sets. Digital special effects were
created with the personal computers of a few members of the troupe." (I.
