Ji-su, who has a personality disorder, suffers from a feeling of emptiness which takes her to the brink of suicide. At the hospital, she meets the psychiatrist Suk-won, who feels sorry for her but can't give her the help she needs. One year later, the two meet up again and fall in love, but whereas Ji-su's mental health is improving, Suk-won discovers he can't do without the girl. His obsession becomes so strong that it puts their love in danger.

Kim In-Sik

Kim In-sik (Gwangju, Korea, 1960) graduated in French Literature from Jeonam University and later studied at the E.S.E.C. Film School of Paris. His debut film, Road Movie (2001), received recognition at numerous festivals, including the San Francisco Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, the Vancouver Film Festival and the Festival of Rotterdam. Ulgool Upnum Minyeo is his second full-length film.
