The Moments

The Moments
by Jiang Zhi
Country: China
Year: 2004
Duration: 51'

Usual moments of the city of Shenzen are shot over years and collected to give a documentary fresco of current urban life of China. "In your life, you will come across many unfogetable moments, that would flash back in your brain in a long time. We can use words and film to rewrite these moments, but they wouldn't be the same. That particular person, that particular place and the particular smell….these can not be copied. So, I tried to record and collect them." (Jiang Zhi)
