I bergmans regi

Created by Ehrnvall for Swedish television, I Bergmans regi is the detailed behind-the-scenes film of the making of Sarabanda, the last work by Ingmar Bergman in which, 30 years later, he returns to the couple from Scenes from a Marriage. From directing the actors to checking out the smallest stage details, from studying the angle of the lights to choosing the color of the clothes, this documentary shows the rigor and perfectionism of the director, as well as the complexity of his spirit and the intimate relationship between Bergman and his work and collaborators, with whom he doesn't hesitate to share the many lessons he has learned in 84 years on the set.
