Country: USA
Year: 2008
Duration: 83'

Dean Barrett leaves home to spend his last year of high school with
his cousin Nate in a country town in Utah. It doesn’t take long for
him to get used to his new life in the Midwest and to fit in with his
cousin’s bizarre group of friends, in particular Cody, a hefty young
man with a gentle soul who soon becomes a good friend. Their passage
to adulthood becomes even more evident when he falls in love with
Esther. Dean knows that after this last year of school the life of his
group of friends will never be the same.

“Parade is about the ache we experience during adolescence when
everything feels possible but remains just out of reach; the ache parents
pray will go away while watching their children struggle to become
adults; the ache of teenage love that seems like it could last forever
but know it won’t”.
