Fiona and Dom are teachers in a rural school. They are a happy couple
who share the passion for Latin dancing. One night, while going back
from a dance competition, they have a car accident which upsets their
lives – Fiona loses her leg, Dom his memory. Their happiness seems
to be permanently compromised, but life always holds some surprises.

“Our models are the eccentric actors and directors of the silent film era.
They managed to join art and entertainment, making inventive, refined
films, which were at the same time funny, accessible and popular.
We aim for laughter, not just caused by satire or parody, but laughter
which comes from a feeling of connivance with our clownish characters.
We would rather use body language than dialogues and we prefer
to tell a simple story, so that the spectator can feel involved in what is
happening among the actors and not only in the complexity of the plot.
Our favourite subjects are human frailty and awkwardness.
Although our couple runs up against the hardness of life, they still
maintain a constant sense of optimism.”
