plan on the planet - despite everything, go francesco! Rome. The S. Maria della Pietà insane asylum. Some of the people are not allowed to leave the park. They pass the time by concentrating – more or less – on the idleness of daily motions: they live out their days gathering leaves, curling up on a bench, smoking, watching the market activity on the other side of the fence. But one day Francesco arrives; he goes over to them and shakes up their existence, forcing them to take back the space they occupy. “This film is a true document on strabismus, on the virtual power of film. A film about the archeology of the future, archeological science fiction. We don’t give any answers here, we indicate, not a way, but an aperture, an aperture onto life, vision, breathing, the urge to live, to be. We are with Francesco to break open the representative cages, the visual limits of the representation, to open ourselves to movement, construction, the power of an act of life. It is a film about love: to free life from the violent, destructive forces which threaten it.”
Biography

Fabrizio Ferraro
Fabrizio Ferraro studied film and the philosophy of language; he then dedicated himself to photography and has organized encounters and film retrospectives. From 2000 to 2001 he directed the Terzo Cinema International Film Exhibit. He then published Breviario di estetica audiovisiva amatoriale - Natura, immagine, etica (2006) and, between 2006 and 2008, he made a film tetralogy about amateurship, each portion was presented singly at various festivals, including the Torino Film Festival and FID Marseille. In 2009 he directed Je suis Simone - La condition ouvrière, which received a special mention at the 27th Torino Film Festival, followed the year later by Piano sul pianeta - Malgrado tutto, coraggio Francesco!
