Sachi and Osamu move into an old house to start a school. The building seems to have been abandoned in haste by its previous owners, who have left behind furniture and objects. The two discover that it used to be a school that had been run by a teacher with innovative methods. Using the chairs, the desks and the toys left behind by the professor gives the girl a feeling of déjà-vu. Past and present combine into a single time frame in which the old school relives in the memories and regrets tied to its tragic closing. “We show gratitude to the time, people, things, places, this great earth and everything in it that gave their all to the making of this film. The film’s birth was made possible by all the big smiles that watched over its process.”
