Country: South Korea
Year: 2010
Duration: 136'

Starting with an old office in which every object and instrument seems to belong to a different era, a true one-year-long journey through various working realities  is undertaken. According to the present Korean law promoted by the Occupational Safety and Health Agency, every workplace with a total of employees numbering between fifty and three hundred people must be inspected by specialists in occupational medicine. Along the way, various work environments are encountered: from a metal works industry to greenhouses for growing strawberries, to various computer industry offices. The film explores both the prevalent working conditions in the country and the medical requirements to which these work places must adhere, thus researching the true situation of the places in which people pass the majority of their life.

“It is the subway number 2 line. Holding an opened black leather bag in one hand and her cell phone in the other hand, a woman is giving a testimony on the subway.”
