L'ETRUSCO UCCIDE ANCORA

THE ETRUSCAN KILLS AGAIN
by Armando Crispino
Country: Italy
Year: 1972
Duration: 105'

Some couples find themselves unknowingly involved in a series of mysterious and bloody murders. Inspector Giuranna, in charge of solving the case, believes the killings were inspired by a series of Etruscan wall paintings in the necropolis of Tarquinia depicting human sacrifices in honor of the god Tuchulcha. The suspicions fall on a heterogeneous group of persons: the American archaeologist Jason Porter, the German choreographer Stephen, and the orchestra director Nikos Samarakis. But, one by one, they prove their innocence. To prevent the blood trail from spreading further, inspector Giuranna will have to resort to his experienced crime-solving skills.

Declaration

film director

“I got the idea for The Dead Are Alive during a fortuitous trip I took with some relatives to the necropolis of Cerveteri. During that day, I felt that feeling of uneasiness that the subconscious perceives in front of something unknown, inexplicable, and deeply disturbing.”
