Declaration
film director
“It’s a thing between Anders Thomas [the screenwriter, Ed.] and me: we always end up having these discussions about moral dilemmas. I find them interesting: knowing who is really right and who is really wrong, our common desire to make clear, black and white decisions are actually totally impossible. And we were also aware of the Scandinavian tradition of complicated police officers, which has always intrigued me. That’s what this feature aims to be: a thriller that also deals with profound human dilemmas.”
