Declaration

film director

“It’s hard to do a film about pain, misery and sorrow. These are perfect feelings that can be dangerous, can result some distortions. And for this very reason I adopted for this film an imperfect approach. Trying to return to the basic elements for doing any film, without the domination of technology, because what does it mean to do a perfect picture with perfect lights and colors where all the things are covered with dust and ambiguity? How you can do a full HD tragedy? This film is somehow about ‘The End,’ and the inability to do anything to stop it. […] It is a meditation on the human, on theater and cinema. It’s about the past, present, and future, about departing, discontinuity, and rupture, about deformity, void, and the black holes that occur in the soul.”
