Dr. Warren, a pathologist, discovers that a parasite hides inside human beings. When the person is very scared, it grows enormously until it snaps their spine. The only way they can save themselves is to scream as loud as they can. One day, he encounters a deaf and dumb patient. Vincent Price – sardonic and disarming – is perfect as Dr. Warren, who also experiments with LSD.
