Germán is no ordinary driver: he transports women enslaved in brothels along Spain’s Costa del Sol. Broke and lost, he works for Cacho, a childhood friend now managing clubs for a local mafia. One night, Germán glimpses a way out and decides to take his chance — but what seems like an escape becomes a deadly trap. His only remaining option is the same one the girls like Alina dream of: to run.

Declaration
film director
“Directing Hamburg was an incredibly intense experience, both personally and professionally. The journey of recent years has taken me to places – both internal and external – that I might not have reached otherwise. Although the film explores themes already present in my debut feature – addiction, the distortion of reality, denial of pain, loneliness, and the need for communication – this time I do so through a genre I’ve always loved: film noir. Above all, it allowed me to dive deep into the world of human trafficking, portraying it with rawness and empathy.”
