Ho is released from prison after serving time for his previous activities. A reformed man, he enthusiastically offers his assistance to Kit and his police colleagues in a dangerous "sting" operation being set up to trap a major underworld figure. Part of the problem is to save the life of Lung who is targeted for assassination. Ho and Kit bring Lung to NYC to hide him with Ken, who is living quietly as a restaurant owner. Lung suffers a massive trauma with the death of his daughter losing everything he holds dear and goes through a complete nervous breakdown, becoming practically catatonic. Ken has his hands full defending this human vegetable, keeping him out of the line of fire, while under attack by assassins. Now incensed, Ken brings Lung back to Hong Kong to confront the evil Ko. Kit is killed, devastating Ho. Lung recovers and together with Ken and Ho, the three men, in samurailike fashion, deal with the mob in a final climatic and bloody confrontation.
