Masaki, a gas station clerk, is a member of the baseball team Eagles. Unskilled in any position, he is shunned by the other team members. At today's game, he pitchhits, but soon gets struck out. Entering the bullpen, he sends no signs, causing the runners to go out easily. His teammates complain bitterly but he hardly cares. After the game, Masaki returns to the gas station where he works. Kanai, a gangster comes by and tells him to wash his car Masaki does not know how to do it, and is beaten up. A disaster has fallen on Masaki and his gas station. Takashi, a former gangster who now owns the snack bar Eagle, is an ardent fan of the baseball team Eagles. He decides to do something to save Masaki and the gas station. Masaki and his friends fly to Okinawa to ask two local gangsters to find them a pistol. Returning to Tokyo, they find out that Takashi has disappeared, Together with Kazuo and Akira, both Eagles members, Masaki goes to the gangsters' den to see what is happening. Kazuo and Akira get beaten to a pulp, but Masaki manages to get away. Then he steals a gas truck from the gas station, and drives it straight into the gangsters' den…

Kitano Takeshi
Kitano Takeshi was born in Tokyo in 1948. He broke into show business in 1973 with the comedy duo act Two Beat, and went on to become the Japan's most famous actor entertainer. Right now he is literally in every TV drama series or game show. His appearance as Sergeant Hara in Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence brought him to audiences outside Japan. He made his debut feature Warning: This Man is Wild in 1989.
