"Building a house of cards is a delicate operation as anyone who has attempted it can tell you. It's a question of balance, of carefully placing two cards against each other to form a peak, then after building another peak beside it, suspending another card on top of the two peaks. Then continuing the process upwards until you have a tall fragile pyramid. The slightest vibration or air turbulence may easily collapse the structure at any stage. This film is about a man who becomes obsessed with building a house of cards. You won't believe your eyes when you see just how high he builds it!" (Walter Repich)

Walter Repich
Walter Repich was born in Melbourne (Australia) on November 14th 1957. He graduated with a degree in graphic design however he decided to pursue a career in film and television working mainly as a camera assistant. Since producing House of Cards he has gone to be the director of photography on the feature film Driven Mad.
