Declaration

film director

“Let’s Go is the story of a friend of mine, the photographer Luca Musella. He was kind enough to expose his inner self to the camera during a difficult time. I asked him to tell me about his ‘fall’ in the form of a letter, which then became the off-screen narration. The voice-over alternates with live recordings of his descent from a bourgeois universe to a sub-proletarian world of marginalization and clandestineness. Through those two languages, different and necessary, the protagonist and the author become a mirror for the viewer. His fears and weaknesses are our own, even if we are in less dire conditions. The images […] are the product of an eye capable of lingering on the misfortunes and capturing the frailty that surrounds us, because they are a projection of our individual conditions.”
