Declaration

film director

"With their complex and rebellious natures, Mickey and Gin Gin simultaneously embody and challenge female archetypes. As we witness Mickey and Gin Gin’s adventures and see them grapple with growing up, we join them on a sometimes-decadent, sometimes-absurd road trip leading to a final awakening. As my directorial debut, I wanted to make an emotionally moving film that explores the growth and self-realization of these characters, while celebrating the timeless themes of sisterhood and the rebelliousness of youth"
