Victor and Anna feel a passionate urge as they are cutting up pieces
of fish. But they can’t indulge in this passion because of Victor’s son,
who is beating his head against the wall to attract their attention.
When they finally manage to close him in his bedroom and are about
to make love, Victor accidently locks himself outside on the balcony
while Anna, blindfolded and tied to the bed, is unaware of what is
going on. In the meantime, a thief is loose in the city and while Victor
tries to get back into the house through a window, the thief steals his
wife and the silverware.
“There are one big and a lot of small parallel stories in Life without
Gabriella Ferri. Men and women, then this woman is taken away by
– by whom? It seems that she’s never coming back. And then there
is another woman. And a child. And a spider. And a sportsman.
And virtual prostitutes. And... All that is simple and clear in one level,
is complicated in another. All that is tragical from one side, is comical
from another side. Such is life for us, and this is the kind films we like
to watch. And to make.”

Olga Pärn
Olga Pärn (Minsk, Republic of Belarus, 1976) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Belarus in 2000. Between 1997 and 2003 she participated in various artistic events in Belarus, Poland, Germany and Austria. She studied at the École du film d’animation La Poudriere in Valence from 2003 to 2005 and later worked in Paris as a storyboarder.

Priit Pärn
Priit Pärn (Tallinn, Estonia, 1946) has a degree in biology and has dedicated himself to caricatures and illustrations since the 1960s. Between 1976 and 1994 he was art director and animator at Tallinfilm Studio in their animation department. Since 1994 he has been working at Eesti Joonisfilm Studio. He has made eleven animated films which have won prizes at numerous international festivals. In 2002 he received the Asifa Life Achievement Award.
