DYSLEXIA
Different letters of the alphabet appear and disappear; they are formed
with the most elementary materials (water, earth, ink, paint, etc.)
to the sound of typical industrial noises, like an assembly line, presses
and sirens. During the progressive destruction of the alphabet, only
the monosyllable “no” seems to acquire meaning.

Dyslexia is the point of view of people who know things and think
in a different way. The sound of an assembly line, the place where
the single letters lose cohesion, where there is no longer any room for
words or shared thoughts. Dyslexia is also the natural condition of the
breakdown of language, in order to bring together animation and
research for a specific reason, the mise-en-scène of this syndrome.
Each time I tried to bring some order into the animated material,
I would get further and further away from my objective. In the end,
I worked in reverse, subtracting order from the editing and sometimes
making the sounds and the images go on different tracks.”
