In elegant circles in New York the Blitz World Chess Championship is under way. The attention is focused on the decisive game for the awarding of the championship between Zsusan Prestar and Ufo Huebner. Zsusan is a woman from the East. She comes from Hungary, where chess is a subject in school, and for this reason she known the game well. Since she has moved to the West, chess represents her source of income. The fall of ideals and the obligation to face everyday materiality as she tours round the world have made Zsusan concise, essential, and intuitive with a strong ability to react. On the other hand Ufo is the typical MiddIeEuropean representative: not badly instructed, informed by the mass media, and xenophobic. The game on the surface an element of western superiority provokes crises of consciousness in him. The game therefore is an element of his dialectical crisis, even though he is not conscious of it. Over the course of the game thoughts overlap with the actions, mirroring the violent, even though bloodless, antagonism between the two adversaries.
