Like a Thin Veil originates in the discomfort that many artists run into when they try to give an expression and a voice to their art in Biella. There are other ways of reading the video and a visual explanation would deprive them of their meaning. These ways of reading are entrusted to the images and to the sensitivity of the viewers.

Susanna Zavattaro
Susanna Zavattaro (Tollegno, 1958) is a teacher of physical education and contemporary dance. She owes her dance training mainly to Carla Perotti and other Italian and foreign choreographers, which whom she studied, including Peter Goss, Micka Von Hoeke and Dominique Dupuy Her main interest is in choreographic research, which she continues to conduct with the group, Deltadanza Biella, also involved in video production. In 1989 she won the first prize in the international choreographic contest, VignaleDanza. Like a Thin Veil is her debut as director.
